Donor unknown Started as a mission congregation by Augusta Baptist church in 1858, Second Baptist Church became a self-supporting church in 1860. Over the course of its lifetime it occupied three sanctuaries, the first on Kollock (11th) Street, a second sanctuary on the corner of 11th and D’Antignac Streets and the final sanctuary at 1828 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Georgia
