Letter from Alexander Stephens, Crawfordville [Georgia] sent to Charles A. Robb relating to a gas fixture. Letter retained because of its association with Alexander Stephens, Vice-President of the Confederacy during the Civil War. According to the 1872 Augusta City directory Charles A. Robb was the proprietor of a business concerned with plumbing, steam, and gas fitting.
