The Richmond Motor Hotel, in the 700 block of Broad Street, is now low-income housing, the Richmond Summit. The 100-year-old building started as a luxury hotel, the Hotel Richmond in 1923, later being converted to a $1,250,000 convention center, the Augusta Town House in 1963. It reopened as the Richmond Motor Hotel in 1971.
