John Edward Tabb (October 22, 1925 – June 25, 2011) was a lifelong resident of Augusta, Georgia who graduated from the Academy of Richmond County in May, 1941. According to his obituary, he entered the world of insurance and financial advising in 1954. He was a member of the Augusta Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. An award, The John E. Tabb Award, was created in his honor to recognize outstanding members of the association.
