Fayette Portraits (1988-2002) is a magazine created by students at Fayette County High School, Fayettevill, Georgia, under the direction of teacher Becky Lewis. The course followed the Foxfire method, a teaching approach that encourages community engagement and student ownership. The magazine served as the final project for the course and was the culmination of the students' efforts to explore Fayette County history.
Fayette Heritage (2000-2001) is a two-issue magazine compiled by students in Sandra Barge's 7th Grade Gifted English class at Rising Starr Middle School. The class documented the people, places, and stories of the two Fayette County communities of Starr's Mill and Inman
