The collection contains historical timelines of the fire department covering the period from 1966-2007, articles, periodicals, photographs, memorbailia and a 1985 street index, a Peachtree City Volunteer Fire Department founding members list phone list, and a1979 full page printed in This Week (newspaper) congratulating the fire department on reducing insurance rates, listing all the officers, and members’ training.

Articles are from (Peachtree City) Happen and Communicator newsletters and local and Atlanta newspapers and magazines (1973 - 2022). Articles are on, and interviews with Sallie Satterthwaite and Stan Neely, “How It Used To Be" by Sallie Satterthwaite, and on Chief Leach’s 1984 retirement.

Newsletters are those published by the Peachtree City Volunteer Fire Fighters Association and by the Peachtree City Firefighters Foundation, between 2006 and 2025 (8 issues nonconsecutive).

Photographs include color photographs of fire trucks and equipment (ca.1980 -1990), and a black and white photocopy of the opening of Old Station 81 with the original volunteer members identified, 1975, as well as reproductions of 1971 and 1991 photos.

Memorabilia and Ephemera includes a 20th Anniversary September 11, 2001 coin with “343” on front, a Peachtree City Fire and Rescue key chain (n.d.), a printed dedication and August 1989 stamped cachet envelope for the naming of [John] Weber Station (Fire Station 83), and a February 6, 1986, Peachtree City Council “Resolution of Appreciation For Peachtree City Personnel and Fire and EMS Volunteers” who responded to a major incident at Booth Junior High School (it was next called Booth Middle School, but is now Fayette Center of Innovation).
